Bluetooth
Mood:  blue

Ok, even I bought a bluetooth ear-thing for my phone yesterday.  Why?  So when I'm in the car or at home and I get/make a call, I can PUT IT ON THEN and have a little easier hands-free experience.   Why do you guys (you know who you are) need to feel like you have to keep it on all the time even when you aren't talking to someone.  How long does it take to say, hey, just got a call I guess I can take .69 seconds to put this thing on.  Please stop walking around with this thing on just to let everyone else know how cool you are that you spent 160 bucks on an earpiece.  I can't even enjoy a movie because it's not dark in there anymore, everyone's ears are blinking blue and green lights.  Give me a break.    -- Switch

Unschooling
Mood:  irritated

Ok, can anybody explain this to me and make it sound like a good idea?  Keeping your kids at home and letting them only learn what makes them feel happy at the moment doesn't seem real intelligent to me.  I know, I was brought up old-school actually going to classes and learning the basics, while interactling with other kids, so what do I know right?  Well, here's your chance to make your point if you've got a good argument.  Here's my argument...watch Discovery channel.  Children NEED math and science and art and english class.  Exercising the brain through numerous disciplines is what helps the brain to grow, neurons to connect, and overall create a more rounded individual.  Hey, I didn't like going to school all the time either, but it's a necessary step in a person's development if you're looking for someone to grow....better than letting a kid (who knows nothing anyway) decide how he/she wants to learn. Give me a break.   -Switch

Greetings
Mood:  energetic

Welcome all to our blog, where we hope to discuss any and all aspects of day to day life...whether it is to complain about the freaks that shop at Walmart, the psychos shooting kids at school, or this newish stupid "unschooling" phenomenon taking hold of the nation.  We welcome any social topic from sex to crime to politics or anything going on in today's society.
